BEAUTIFUl !! Now i feel like i am earning my keep on this mailing list... ;-) As soon as i get home, i'll get it myself. Looks like just what i wanted. BTW, since i have a laptop, not a constant net connection, here's what i'm doing. In root, i have a maint directory. I have 3 scripts here.. one for cvsup, one for make kernel, one for make world. I can run these whenever. I also run pkg_info > plist regularly, and i go over this list to prune my ports collection of things i don't want and have forgotten about... i did this today and scrapped enlightenment and gnome. Saved a lot of space... That new utility will be a great bonus.
