Greetings, I have been having no problems with the SMP kernel configuration just up to a week ago when I updated one of my last multi processor systems. I have two other systems and have no problems with them they are running superdot (XEON 500s) and asus (PIII 733s) motherboards and everything works fine. I just did an update to 4.5-RC Tues Jan 15, 2002 and have completely lost SMP on an intel motherboard (PIII 500s). I have tried to cvsup from source now about 4 times in the last two weeks with the same results on this same board. It worked fine before when I was running 4.4-stable from about two months ago. The kernel sees that it's running on a SMP board but does not launch or see the second processor properly. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I have double checked my kernel configuration and everything is right. I have two other machines I also have running that I also updated to 4.5-RC in the last week and they are fine.
