For AMD identification, start at
https://www.x.org/wiki/RadeonFeature/#Decoder_ring_for_engineering_vs_marketing_names

Everything up to Sea Islands uses the radeon driver.  The amdgpu is
for the newest chipsets (Volcanic Islands).
