Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, I am writing to ask for your help using (user mode) PPP to connect to an Ascend MAX 4000 that uses - I think - PAP to control access. The PPP log has messages like Athentication Phase PAP Authname: <secret word> received PAP NAK Does this mean the Ascend does *not* use PAP ? Thank you very much.
