I am the new admin of a network that uses FreeBSD servers in part. My
predecessor left few notes, and my experience with FreeBSD is limited.

We are getting a "bad fd" error message when we try to restart a virus
scanner.

What, in general, does this mean? What should we correct? Reference?

Thanks in advance,

Charlie
