This visual fault locator, model 5101, features end- to-end visual fiber identification, detects breaks and micro-bends even through jacketed fiber. This VFL offers wavelengths from 640 to 660nm. With its rugged design, a universal connector and accurate measurement, this VFL examines patch cords, ribbons or bunched pigtails. Its measurement range is up to 5km and it boasts a operating time of 30 hours with a single battery charge.
