I want to warn the readers that two people have tried to use my IDT driver with the ForeRunner LE, and at least one was the 25 Mb version. It sounds like niether has not gotten the driver to work with their card. My major concern is that the SUNI chip on the ForeRunner may be different enough from the one IDT used on the original 155Mb evaluation boards. the IDT uses host memory to re-assemble the incoming packets. I doubt the IDT SAR would ever be a screamer of a performer. if someone really wants the 155Mb card to work, they can send me a card and I will see what the problem is...I used two UTP cards and a twisted CAT-5 cable to write the original driver so a UTP card is okay...I can also use MMF... we do not have any 25Mb ATM here so I would need card pairs to figure out a 25Mb problem. I will send the card back. --mark. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-atm" in the body of the message
