  I agree that "ifconfig -au" shows more info related specifically to the
NICs, but "netstat -i" *does* print assigned IP addresses and networks, and
you can see also what's going on. The following output is from a 3.1-STABLE
box (anyway it works even at least on 2.2.7) (I removed the traffic
statistics):
