Hello,

I'm having the same issue as Isaac in =
lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-questions/2007-April/147043.html .
And I would like to know if it have a solution.

I got booting "No CD/DVD devices found" after booting from FreeBSD 6.2 =
CD 1.
That occurr when in the step that you have to choose a media type for =
installation.

Maybe useful information:
Chipset : NVIDIA nForce 430.
Hard drive and DVD drive: Serial ATA (SATA)

Question:
I've saw in a forum =
http://www.mydatabasesupport.com/forums/bsd-freebsd-misc/170177-installin=
g-freebsd-6-2-w-ich8-chipset.html that SATA CD / DVD drives are not =
supported yet.
Is that true?
So..=20
The suggestion to me is to use another type of media installation and I =
will have no use more for my DVD SATA driver in Freebsd ?

Thanks in advance.
