I have a recently cvsupped system as well as yesterday's ports tree: pentium# uname -a FreeBSD pentium.weeble.com 4.6-RC FreeBSD 4.6-RC #0: Mon Jun 3 19:36:06 EDT 2002 root@pentium.weeble.com:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC i386 I reviewed PR ports/38190 and confirmed that I had the most recent version of /usr/ports/Mk/bsd.sites.mk from CVS Master: # $FreeBSD: ports/Mk/bsd.sites.mk,v 1.88 2002/05/23 04:38:46 trevor Exp $ pentium# cd /usr/ports/x11-wm/bbkeys pentium# make checksum >> bbkeys-0.8.4.tar.gz doesn't seem to exist in /usr/ports/distfiles/. >> Attempting to fetch from http://us.dl.sourceforge.net/bbkeys/. Receiving bbkeys-0.8.4.tar.gz (183028 bytes): 100% 183028 bytes transferred in 3.1 seconds (58.33 kBps) >> Checksum mismatch for bbkeys-0.8.4.tar.gz. Make sure the Makefile and distinfo file (/usr/ports/x11-wm/bbkeys/distinfo) are up to date. If you are absolutely sure you want to override this check, type "make NO_CHECKSUM=yes [other args]". *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/x11-wm/bbkeys. I overrode the site and got a good tarball to build the port. Here are the sizes of the one from SourceForge and the one from ftp5: 183028 May 27 15:00 /usr/ports/distfiles/bbkeys-0.8.4.tar.gz (SF) 839680 May 15 22:40 /usr/ports/distfiles/bbkeys-0.8.4.tar.gz (ftp5) I did a portupgrade of all my installed ports and this seemed to be the only one that had an issue with SourceForge out of around 100 ports. Perhaps its just this tarball and not a problem with Sourceforge. I just want to be sure it can be duplicated by someone else before thinking about filing a PR.
