A little undocumented DOS magic: FDISK /MBR Be sure to use the FDISK that came with the DOS version that you have installed. It will just replace the MBR (Master Boot Record), won't even print a single character, but that's O.K. > Thanks, You're welcome... > Also, how do I get it to boot off a second (D) IDE drive,so I can have both > but on seperate drives? Don't know about 2.0.5 (anybody else does???) but in 2.1.0, you can select the drive to which FreeBSD will install. Note that you *must have* the boot manager installed on the first drive, so select both during install, and create a FBSD partiotion only on the second one. This will still let you install the boot manager on the first drive. This only works if the two drives are on the same controller (the primary one...). Otherwise, you'll need to rebuild your kernel. > > Yours Faithfully > Ryan Darby > 1191140@beltel.telkom400.inca.za > Nadav.
