:what would you recomend in the line of a cheap digital camera for use with :freebsd? just want to use it to take a few photos of my area for :websites. : :-Darren I wouldn't just get the cheapest digital camera you can find, but if you are looking for a point-and-shoot I recommend checking out this site: http://www.dpreview.com/ Click on the buyer's guide and go from there. The site has everything so I'll help you narrow it down some. I am partial to Canon cameras myself. e.g. it sounds like what you are looking for is something like the Canon A60 or A300. If you need more megapixels then look at the Canon S60, PowerShot G6, etc. If you want to check out vendors other then Canon, I recommend looking at the Nikon Coolpix series. -Matt Matthew Dillon <dillon@backplane.com>
