related to FreeBSD:

Software Engineer (iPrism)

	Join the iPrism development team in maintaining and enhancing our award=20
	winning iPrism web filtering appliance. This job will be responsible to=20
	assisting with the definition and implementation of new features and=20
	upgrades in software and hardware integration. Includes up front analysis=
=20
	and design work, as well as coding, integration and debugging. Work is=20
	done in a FreeBSD environment using open source tools. Tasks vary from=20
	small 2-3 weeks jobs to larger, multi-month tasks. Some work will be done=
=20
	individually, other as part of a larger team. Assist Technical Support=20
	and Quality Assurance staff in troubleshooting and testing the product.=20
	Occasionally work with external customers. Some authoring of help text=20
	and other technical documentation.

	o Bachelors degree plus 3 to 5 years experience in software development.
	o Strong UNIX/FreeBSD internals and networking.
	o Configuration management (e.g. CVS, GNATS, make).
	o Experience programming in the following languages: C/C++, Perl, shell.
	o i386 architecture knowledge a plus.
	o Java, PHP and SQL experience a plus.


Software Engineer (ePrism)

	Responsibilities will revolve around all UI accesses with the ePrism Mail=
=20
	filtering appliance, including administration, configuration and end-user=
=20
	interactions. Strong human factors knowledge and detailed implementation=20
	skills are imperative. A strong background in programmatic access to SQL=20
	databases and intimate knowledge of PHP4 and Java (Swing & AWT) are=20
	critical. Work is performed on FreeBSD, using primarily open-source=20
	development tools. We have a team-focused atmosphere in which the=20
	successful applicant will be expected to contribute significantly toward=20
	requirements, design and implementation phases. Strong communication=20
	skills will be expected throughout our process-driven software lifecycle.

	o Bachelors degree plus 5 years experience in user interface software=20
	  development.
	o Strong Unix development environment skills: CVS, make files, bug=20
	  tracking.
	o Required languages: HTML/DHTML, PHP4, Java, Perl, and Bourne shell.
	o Database experience: SQL, JDBC, Berkeley DB.
	o Graphics manipulation, visual layout, and human factors proficiency.
	o Experience plusses: Ant, PostgreSQL, C/C++, embedded environments.


Software Quality Assurance Engineer (iPrism)

	Candidate will be very hands-on, directly responsible for test=20
	verification of the iPrism products.  Test plan and test case development
	for new product features.  Work closely with developers and technical=20
	support to communicate and resolve product issues.  Analyze problems in a
	software, hardware and network environment.  Produce product defect
	reports, status reports, and other reports as required.  Report work=20
	progress and issues to the test lead.

	o BS degree in Computer Science or related equivalent.
	o 2-3 years experience in Software QA, including product testing.
	o Proficient in creating test plans, test matrices and test cases.
	o Strong software troubleshooting & software problem analysis skills.
	o Strong knowledge in Unix and Windows administration.
	o Strong networking skills and experience working with network appliances=
=20
	  (routers, switches, load balancers, etc).
	o Strong software and networking analytical skills.
	o Experience with Internet application protocols: IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP/
	  HTTPS, DNS, LDAP, and NTLM. SMTP, FTP and SSL a plus.
	o Experience with SQL.
	o Experience using multiple browser versions in a QA environment.
	o Experience using all versions of the Windows Operating Systems in a QA=20
	  environment.
	o Experience creating automated test tools using either C/C++, Java, or a=
=20
	  scripting language is a plus.
	o Ability to clearly communicate in English, both verbally and in=20
	  writing.
	o Visa Sponsorship is NOT provided.

Salary for all positions is Market/DOE.
