Just to let the other folks on the list know:

I was watching a TV program about the people from the northern coastal 
strip of Germany, apparently `Moin' is equivalent of `Good Morning' 
... well ... it's obvious in retrospect ;-)
but not before (I thought he'd been implying `moan moan, so much to do ... :-)'

Julian (down on the Southern edge of Germany, where `Moin' is never heard)
