	Try removing the "exec" and have the .xinitrc just read=20

startxfce4

	The only other thing I can think of is editing the file in a terminal.  Th=
ere=20
have been some system files that if I edit in a graphical editor (Kedit on =
my=20
KDE system) some extra characters somehow get in there and create odd=20
problems, whereas if I use a text editor (edit, vi, etc) things work fine.
