Thanks Jason I will try that.

Interestingly enough it seems to happen during a
telnet session.  I can telnet to the box, then hit
w, and it will lock up...not all the time but a lot.

I can type ls, and it will lock up.

Nothing is really running on the box, no web server,
just what comes from a general install.
