I am trying to patch the perl-setuid whole with no success. accourding to ftp://freebsd.org/pub/CERT/patches/SA-96:12.README I am supposed to put SA:96:12-patch-aa and SA:96:12-patch-ab into the /usr/ports/lang/perl5/patch directory and name them patch-aa and patch-ab respectably.. however, there is already a patch-aa file in the patch directory..and when I overwrite it with the SA:96:12-patch-aa and then put the SA:96:12-patch-ab the make install fails when it attempts to apply the patches... Can someone please elaborate how this is EXACTLY supposed to be done.. Thanks, Jason
