The "editors/texmakerx" port in the ports system is at version "2.1", a very old version released on 2011-03-19. It might also be time to rename the port. Since 2011-06-15 TexMakerX was renamed TeXstudio. The latest released version is "2.5.2" and has many improvements and bug fixes. Are there any plans to update the ports version?
