Thanks! I'm sure the code will be plenty refined enough by the next release. For this release, since Jordan isn't going to make it, I *would* like to MFC my sysinstall changes. I am going to submit my proposal to the release engineers in non-list email (you all know what it is), and I recommend that those who want to have their own say (e.g. fewer partitions) submit their own proposal to the release engineers, also in private email. However, I would ask that rather then simply throwing a tantrum off-the-cuff that you first at least *try* my sysinstall code first. It's in current and the -stable patches are available at http://apollo.backplane.com/FreeBSD/ Note, some minor revs were made to the stable patches and to the comitted version of the current patches. Basically just /var/tmp -> /tmp. The release engineers should then make a final determination and email me.
