Interesting.. yeah that is ok.  And the ftp is there too.  hrmm

Have you followed the steps in
http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/DIAGNOSIS.html as suggested by dan?

Also, can you connect to any of the other resources in the list or is ftp
the only one giving the problem?
