--- Comment #2 from Trix Farrar <trix@basement.net> ---
I wasn't sure about how to use the USES_PYTHON variable. Thank you for the
pointer.

It does pass portlint and I did build it with poudriere:

$ portlint py-lolcat
WARN: Makefile: Consider defining LICENSE.
0 fatal errors and 1 warning found.
$=20

(not sure how to get past that warning since the license in the script is
"unique".)

I am aware of the PyPI project, but don't know if pip wraps packages the way
CPAN does (or did?) for Perl. My repository is actually forked from the Py=
PI=20
project's github repository. The project hasn't had a release since 2016-0=
6-07
and currently has year-old PRs outstanding. I have e-mailed the author.

In the meantime, I have no problems re-naming the port to avoid conflict.=20
Should that work continue on this PR or should this one be closed and a new=
 one
opened under the new name?
