You can check your configuration for tcpd with two programs in /usr/local/s=
bin  tcpdchk and tcpdmatch
Theses will tell you if your configuration is ok. It does not check your =
syslog.conf file.
After you edit your syslog.conf file you should kill -HUP the syslogd to =
get it to reread your syslog.conf file.

Have you ever wanted to pull back a message as soon as you sent it?

I just found the following in my logs. I'm not sure what I was looking =
at=20
before. This is from a telnet to the FreeBSD box.

Apr 28 20:31:35 ns telnetd[90638]: connect from ngatoto.mydomain.com
Apr 28 20:31:41 ns login: login from ngatoto.mydomain.com on ttyp3 as dan

I'll keep looking.
