FreeBSD iFreeBSD.infrax.local 7.0-RELEASE FreeBSD 7.0-RELEASE #0: Tue May 6 19:56:59 CEST 2008 root@iFreeBSD.infrax.local:/usr/src/sys/i386/compile/INFRAX i386
>Description:
By default FreeBSD 7.0 system would not reboot (it hangs forever) after initiating "shutdown -r now" or "reboot". Running:

kldload ipmi; watchdog -t 60; reboot

does work, but when the module is compiled into the kernel or loaded it via /boot/loader.conf (and "watchdog -t 60" is executed via /etc/rc.local") the system reboots automatically very soon after it boots.
>How-To-Repeat:
Reboot the 7.0-RELEASE on HP ProLiant ML110 G5 without the ipmi loaded and watchdog timer set, or with ipmi module loaded via /boot/loader.conf and watchdog set via /etc/rc.local.
