Lately I've noticed that sometimes when I boot up (usually after rebuilding a kernel, but not always), my keyboard is scrambled (in raw mode, I suppose). It happens both before and after the xdm starts (I push keys during the init sequence and see what gets echoed). I've also determined that it's not me pushing such keys that causes the problem, they get that way whether I play with it or not. If I telnet in and reboot, everything works fine the second time. What's going on here, and how can I fix it? -- Ray Kohler <rjk191@psu.edu> Lost interest? It's so bad I've lost apathy.
