X-URL: http://ftp.arl.mil/~butler/index.html Message-ID: <199812160046.aa14899@CAD.ARL.MIL> Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Has anyone ever set up a system to boot both 2.2.7 and 3.0? I'm having some difficulty setting up such a system. It seems no matter what I do, I get 2.2.7 when I boot. The partition map on the disk looks like this: 500M MSDOS 2048M FreeBSD 2.2.7 2048M FreeBSD 3.0 1.5M FreeBSD 2.2.7 data filesystem Each version of FreeBSD was independently installed from distribution. Booteasy gives me options for each of the 4 partitons (1 DOS and 2,3,4 BSD). I can boot Dos by pressing F1. If I press F2, F3 (or even F4) I get FreeBSD 2.2.7. A clue would be most welcome. Lee A.
