On a FreeBSD (2.2.7-Stable) system I use, reverse DNS seems to work sometimes and other times it doesn't. For example, a "w" or finger command will show the hostnames fine, but last shows IP addresses. (Not for everything though. Some IPs in last are shown correctly as hostnames while others are just IPs) Any idea what could be wrong? Reverse DNS is working, as "w" and finger show accurate information.
