I don't know anything useful about MySQL. Oracle was not a problem.

What exactly is the problem?
Have you tried it on a Linux system?
How recent is your system?

Not that I know of. I expect it any time soon. There is of course a change
they wait until after the next release of FreeBSD. I know I would :-)
