I found an interesting project. You might add to the project lists. It is
a bit strange, but some Linux people realised the stability FreeBSD kernel
and the advantage of the BSD license.

Debian GNU/FreeBSD: Debian GNU/FreeBSD is a new experimental project. It
brings Debian distribution for a new architecture 'freebsd-i386' on top of
good known FreeBSD kernel which is the same as in original FreeBSD
distribution (like FreeBSD RELEASE-3.3).
More information: http://master.debian.org/~dexter/debian-freebsd/doc/

Thanks,
