Is there any reason Oracle for Linux couldn't run _better_ on FreeBSD? My own experience is that FreeBSD is more stable and consistent. Many credible contributors have said that FreeBSD's virtual memory system is superior to Linux. So why not? You can bet benchmarks of Linux vs. NT will be done to death.
