Mostly, yes. As it is a BLOB to create self-extraction rar archives (SFX) which extract themselves on FreeBSD 8.x, you wouldn't need to run this binary when creating ones. On the other hand, you should have compat8x and compat9x installed on FreeBSD >= 10, to extract these SFX. Or you can extract SFX without runnnig them - just use rar or unrar. (or 7z.) I think people have nearly zero chance to create SFX archive which runs only on FreeBSD >= 8 during their lifetime. -- kuro
