Hmmmmm.... Does anyone know if ftpd is broken in 2.1.7-RELEASE? or was it an artifact of copying most of the backed up /etc files directly into /etc? I do not get a chance to enter a password and it says: 530 User howard access denied. Login failed. ftp> user (username) howard 530 User howard access denied. Login failed. /etc/ftpusers was never changed. The passwords and login work fine, so this is weird... Any ideas?
