There is project as completed "GEM, KMS, and DRI Support for Intel Drivers" in page : http://www.freebsdfoundation.org/projects This means that FreeBSD Foundation has expertise about such projects . You may prepare a specification for you needs and submit to FreeBSD Foundation for a possible cost estimation ( if they prepare , I do not know ) with a possible support by you about costs to develop software parts for your needs . There are also works on AMD GPU : https://wiki.freebsd.org/AMD_GPU https://github.com/dumbbell/freebsd https://github.com/dumbbell You may supply a more coordinated support for accelerated development . I have read in a page that FreeBSD Foundation is planning to recruit additional full time developers . You may also talk to them about those issues . Thank you very much . Mehmet Erol Sanliturk
