FreeBSD is a volunteer=20 project. Lots of people would like to have all sorts of functionality that = isn't presently available or save things that aren't maintained. Yet few=20 want to volunteer to do the work. (In my experience that is normal human=20 nature.) So I took Chris' response to mean, step up and take=20 responsibility if you don't want it to go away. I became a port maintainer because there were things I needed that weren't=20 available. Rather than asking someone else to do it, I took on the=20 responsibility myself.
