Peter once wrote that rdisc should be ready for prime time, and if you really need something more, use GateD. It allows you to declare an interface as ``passive'', meaning GateD will never delete the route out of this interface solely for the lack of getting routing information from it. The GateD port should install at least the gated_config HTML stuff somewhere under /usr/local for reference.
