Hi all folks, FreeBSD 5.2 ======== I encountered problem of slow startup of KDE 3.1, first popup desktop icrons, then bottom tool-bar, then welcome screen, etc., one by one taking prolonged time. Starting K package also takes lengthy time. Closing/exiting KDE is equally slow. Immediate after installation (from CD1) completed it worked perfectly. IIRC, only after playing around to configure network card, ppp, etc. which are still not completed yet, KDE startup became terrible slow. Kindly advise. TIA B.R. Stephen Liu
