I don't know whether it has any relevance to your problem; but I find the 
symbolic address 'brandford.trusc.net' is being reported on the public 
network:

  beta:209> host brandford.trusc.net
  brandford.trusc.net has address 192.168.254.24

Which I don't believe should be the case.
A misconfigured DNS ?
