I checked my ppp.conf and the only extra thing I have is ``set ctsrts on'' in the default section. Perhaps you can try adding that? You could also try changing the first ``AT'' to ``AT&F'', i.e. TIMEOUT 5 \"\" AT&F OK-AT-OK This sets the modem to factory defaults (for most modems, check the manual).
