is there anything that will securely delete data from the freespace of a filesystem, say i have like financial data on my system, and i want it deleted, i can rm some-file-name but in actuality even though its gone, various foprensic utilities make the data recoverable is there something to wipe the freespace on freebsd file systems ???? to make data deleted unrecoverable ??? -- Windows 95 (win-DOH-z), n.
