I'm useing a maxtor 1240s drive and adaptec 1542 card. I fdisk the drive by using the whole drive and the (all) defaults selection. Is it a hardware problem or am I not setting up the drive right in the fdisk? I have rule out a hardware problem. I'm running out of solutions. Please help. Sincerely, Bill Fay
