Which version of X are you running?
Do you use a specialized server (which?) or the generic
(VGA16) one? Try falling back to VGA if your server doesn't
work. Then, if it works, try SVGA.
I hope someone else will respond to this message as I am no expert.

& (VGA16)? Попробуйте использовать VGA16, если Вам не удастся
& справиться с вашим сервером. Затем попробуйте сервер SVGA.
