-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I can't make my CF work on the first version of 5.3-STABLE. My thinkpad X31 has a built-in CF reader, which is recognized as a pcmcia fixed disk. It used to work by simply plugging the CF in, and ad4 would just appear, at least on and before 5.3-BETA2 which is the last time I used it. Now, when I plug the CF in, pccard1 still recognizes my card and ata2 is still attached, but ad4 does not appear. Searching in the archive of freebsd-current there was a similar problem caused by using a module of pccard instead of compiled into the kernel such that the ata driver is not attached. My problem is different in that my pccard driver is compiled into the kernel and that ata driver is attached, but ad4 does not appear. The following is the dmesg.
