They will start to use koi8-u letters which appearse as pseudographics for
legal koi8-r users.

koi8-r have no problems with pseudographics, it can be used freely.

I see no problems just running sysinstall. As I already say, something
wrong with your terminal or you not provide enough details.

They use all pseudographics. I mean Usenet fido7 hierarchy.
