:-) Actually, Warner did just that. The last SUID perl script has
been recommitted as a c program (keyinfo(1)).

(my suggestion was for a suidperldist, not a perldist, but I could
make a perldist if that was warranted, and we'd need to make that
compulsory until a dependancy mechanism could be done).

This is another story - some of those scripts are hairy :-(.
