>Description:
Attempting an install with 8.0-RELEASE-1386 memstick or USB dvd-rom on an Asus EEEPC901 16G and sysinstall fails to recognize the USB flash media or dvd-rom drive as attached to the system. Aborting sysinstall and relaunching seems to get sysinstall to recognize the USB devices, but the install fails after formating when the file copying begins. The following error is displayed: ": create/symlink failed, no inodes free". This may have something to do with sysinstall getting confused about which disk is the target. Something must have changed because an earlier beta of 8.0 and previous versions did not have this issue on this machine.
>How-To-Repeat:
This has not been tested on any other machine other than the Asus EEEPC901 16G, so this needs further testing.
>Fix:
Temporary workaround is to install 7.2 and perform an online upgrade.
