oh as a note. be sure youre videoram setting in Xconfig is at least as big as you specify when running the patch, my videoram setting says 64m in my config but i ran it as 845patch 16384 then started x (after changing the depth from the cruddy 8 bit to 24, and wohoo big clear picture :D :) Michelle (HAPPY!)
