Would it be appropriate to move it to the SECURITY > CONSIDERATIONS area? Possibly. I need to look at BUGS some more and combine the information within with the SECURITY CONSIDERATIONS info, and delete it as the FreeBSD Security Architecture (FSA) is committed. The Security Architecture is being initially handled by other people on the TrustedBSD Project. As it is initially being written and as we discuss it I will make the decisions as to what should stay in the man page and what should be changed into "See the FSA". This, of course, will hinge on whether sufficient information covering the issue is added to the FSA document. However, much of the printf-specific information (for example, %n) will definitely get merged into the SECURITY CONSIDERATIONS section. In the end, I am 99.9% certain the only remaining BUGS paragraphs will be the first one and the last one. -- +-------------------+----------------------------------------+ | Chris Costello | Use IF...ELSE IF...ELSE IF...ELSE... | | chris@FreeBSD.org | to implement multi-way branches. | +-------------------+----------------------------------------+ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
