Im wondering whats going on. Im doing a fresh install with a guided gpt partition scheme. MBR only supports booting from partitions under 2 TB in size. It's a known issue with MBR partitions; ever since 500 GB drives were introduced and used in RAID5 arrays. Either create a separate boot partition that's under 2 TB in size (pretty much all hardware RAID controllers support that). Or, switch to using GPT. It's one of the main reasons GPT was created.
