David,
If what you are saying is true (and I have no reason do doubt you) then Simply
Accouting should not run at all. But it does. And yes there are these pop-up
boxes that say can't load this and that .ole or .dll..i forgot which.

Is there any Xwindows type of Accounting programs around?
