Peter, Thanks for the POLA violation. I think this will cause far fewer problems than making every subscriber update manually and I'm not even sure it is a violation. I'd find not getting src commit messages very astonishing! Anyone who read cvs-src should really be able to handle this change without all that much upset. -- R.
