Check on http://vulture.dmem.strath.ac.uk/bt848/ under Sample applications
there is a link to one that grabs frames to a PPM file.  I got this link
from following the projects link on the main FreeBSD page down to
Applications, Multimedia link, The Bt848 Driver Project.  Also in the
future for this kind of thing multimedia@FreeBSD.org might produce results
quicker.
